Paul Pellizzon is a founding partner of Clear Capital, LLC, overseeing the firm’s accounting and finance functions.

Mr. Pellizzon has been in the real estate and financial services industry for over 30 years.  He has extensive knowledge in conventional and income property loan underwriting due to his past positions with mortgage industry leaders Shearson American Express Mortgage and The Hammond Company.

Mr. Pellizzon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Pellizzon completed a 2-year program by receiving a Certificate in Applied Accounting at University of Irvine Continuing Education. Mr. Pellizzon holds a California Department of Real Estate Broker License, and is a member of IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) and the California Association of Realtors.

Daniel Hardy is a founding partner of Clear Capital, LLC, overseeing the day-to day operational activities and implementation of the vision, goals, and strategic plan of the company.

Mr. Hardy brings over 25 years of real estate experience to the firm including deep experience in corporate leadership, acquisitions, and asset management.  Prior to forming Clear Capital, Mr. Hardy was founder, and President of Hardy Equities, LLC, a multi-family investment firm.  Previously, Mr. Hardy held senior management positions at AIMCO, Charles Dunn Company, Advanced Management and J.D. Property Management.

Mr. Hardy received a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management from California State University, Fullerton. He holds a California Department of Real Estate Broker License, and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, a member of the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles, and The Apartment Owners Association of California.

Mr. Worchell, a founding partner of Clear Capital LLC, has over 30 years of multi-faceted real estate experience including the ownership or management of over 10,000 units. Having built a reputation as an innovative dealmaker and business operator, Mr. Worchell currently oversees the firm’s acquisition and long range planning functions, providing leadership in the areas of acquisitions, operations and dispositions.

Mr. Worchell’s past experience is broad and varied. In addition to expertise in the areas of brokerage, property management and appraisal, Mr. Worchell has held key positions with Pinnacle Realty Management and Charles Dunn Company. Mr. Worchell also founded and served as president of Fountain Management, a firm specializing in the acquisition, rehabilitation and operation of multi-family assets in Southern California.

Mr. Worchell received a BA in both Real Estate Finance and Accounting from California State University, Northridge. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of California (inactive) and is a member of the Advisory Committee of the National Multifamily Housing Council.

Eric Sussman is a founding partner of Clear Capital, LLC, overseeing the firm’s capital, equity, and debt departments and strategic planning functions. Mr. Sussman provides leadership to the firm in the areas of private equity, joint ventures, and fund formations.

Mr. Sussman has over 25 years of multi-faceted real estate experience and has been pivotal in some of the firm’s largest deals and property acquisitions. Mr. Sussman’s past experience is broad and varied including key positions at Amber Capital and Sequoia Real Estate Partners. Mr. Sussman began his career with Price Waterhouse (now Price Waterhouse Coopers).

In addition to his position at Clear Capital, Mr. Sussman has been an Adjunct Professor of accounting and real estate at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management since 1995, where he has been voted “Outstanding Professor” 15 times by MBA students. Additionally, he has been named as one of the top ten most popular business professors by Bloomberg BusinessWeek, and one of the 20 most influential professors alive today by “Top Business Degrees.”

Mr. Sussman received a BA in Economics (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA (Arjay Miller Scholar) from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. He is a licensed CPA and real estate broker (inactive) in California. He is a member of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Causeway Capital’s Group of mutual funds, and a member of the Board of Directors of three non-profit organizations: Jewish Family Services, UCLA Hillel, and Pacific Charter School Development.
